It looks like someone in the MVC will need a new coach next year. It's painful for me to see Toledo being a step above any MVC program.

That is a surprise. Maybe easier to win the conference and get to the dance, at Toledo.

Shyla McKibbon is still my favorite non-Drake player, and best name, too, for what it's worth.

They took over a month and most of the spring signing period to name a coach. That says a lot about where wbb is in their priorities.

Rice is not exactly a women's basketball powerhouse. Still, Murphy has had some success at other levels. It
will be interesting to see what she does at Evansville.

The press release pays a good bit of attention to community relations. Sounds to me like they wanted a good will ambassador as much as they wanted a basketball coach.
