| | Defeated Missouri State today 7-2 to win the MVC Conference Tournament and will now be playing in the NCAA tournament for just the second time in the program's history I believe. Also picked to finish 9th like the basketball team. |

| a HUGE congrats to the softball team. I saw the game on FSN Midwest. Missouri State had the second or thrid rated infield in the COUNTRY, so that's awesome that we won 7-2! Way to repeat what the men's basketball team did...rated 9th to start the season, finishing on top in the tourney! Way to go girls! Kepp it up!

| Outstanding! Not just a great new pitcher, but the seniors really producing some runs.
With a good pitcher, and a bit of luck, ya never know in the NCAA's. I believe 1994 was the only other appearance, but don't remember if they won a game. Anyway, go Dogs!
