UNI's new AD is Troy Dannen. He's a UNI grad and was executive director of the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. From what I can tell, UNI fans are not excited about this hire. This month-old Panther Nation post is pretty funny right now:

if we hire troy dannen then i've lost all respect for our future in athletics.

From Panther Nation, some UNI fans are apocalyptic after this hire:

I'll say it again, UNI is in some BIG BIG financial trouble and are dangerously close to the breaking point.
