| Please come to Drake Tony Nixon!
According to a Rivals Network article that came out yesterday, Nixon seems to have Drake ranked high as he closes in on making his choice.

"Tony Nixon proved that he was lights out on the AAU circuit all summer long and the lanky 6-foot-4, 180-pound wing from the Seton Academy in the Chicago area won't be affected by the new college three-point line. That's why a host of schools have stepped forth with scholarship offers ... "
"Nixon mentioned Drake and Tennessee as two schools he's thinking about scheduling a visit to. He's staying patient with the recruiting process but is aiming for a fall decision." Nixon said, "Of course, I'm looking for a good education but I also want a good fit socially and everything. I'm also looking at playing time."
According to Rivals these schools listed below are in the mix with Illinois, Drake, George Mason, Fresno State, and UTEP as the schools who have offered.

| Chicagohoops.com has him listed as one of the top shooters in the area....in the linked article, 5 of the 7 top shooters have been mentioned as potential Drake recruits at one time or another.

All I can say is that based on this quote from the article, Drake is definitely the place for this young man. The academics are great, the players are embraced by the entire community and playing time is available next year with J Barenbruch graduating.
