The question isn't who will win on Saturday. The question is will Wichita State receive an at-large bid to the NCAA tourney after they lose to Drake twice in one week!

Thanks, JC!

To add to St. Louis fans question, does anyone think the committee would take three teams from the MVC if some team (other than Wichita or Creighton) wins the tournament? The auto bid is the tournament winner.
As to St Louis Fans question, some seem to think Creighton and Wichita are solidly in and losses would only effect NCAA seeding. I am not so sure. I think if either CU or WSU loose this week end and loose in the MVC tournament they could be bubbleized, especially CU. I guess the argument would be what is the winning teams RPI?

PLEASE DEAR KARMA GODS ... though we accept St Louie in the Drake fold, he has yet to find his way through your powers. Please disregard his comments 'O Mighty One. As an offer for apology ....

Two tramps were walking along the railroad tracks one day and one tramp said to the other, "I'm the luckiest guy in the world".

"Why is that?" said the other tramp.

"Well, I was walking down these tracks last week and I found a £20. I went into town and bought a case of wine and was drunk for three days."

The other tramp said, "That was pretty good, but I think I'm the luckiest guy in the world. I was walking down these very tracks about two weeks ago, and just up ahead was a gorgeous naked woman tied to the tracks. I untied her and took her up there in the trees and I had sex with her for two days."

"Jesus", said the first tramp. "You are the luckiest guy; did you get a bj, too?"

"Well", the other tramp said, "No, I never found her head."

On the plus side, we get a cupcake game on Thursday night to pad our win column! Since the game doesn't start 'til 8:35 pm, we'll have an extra long happy hour before the game. Anybody coming into town?

Thanks, JC!

I'm going to have to work on my attitude. Right now, I'm having a hard time caring about the tourney.

Indiana State cruises past Southern Illinois, 66-50. Salukis finish 8-23, defending champion/#8 Sycamores advance to play #1 Wichita State.

Wichita State is up 34-10 on Indiana State with 3:30 left in the first half. InSU is 2-20 from the field with 8 turnovers.

a noon tipoff after finishing a game at 8:30 PM the night before is a killer.

72-48 Wichita. They are a really good team and as Lime said, having to play the noon game after getting done at 8:30 the night before doesn't help. I guess that is the price you pay for 8th place. And to think Indiana St. was 1 pt from being the 3rd place team.

If ISU can hit some of these open shots that are rimming out, niu could be in trouble. ISU just tied it at 27-27

I can haz new coach?

I'm streaming the game at work - sounds like ISU is the better team today but are having issues pulling away. I'd prefer to see ISU advance over UNI.

UNI is 6-for-29 on 2-pointers. Going 7-for-21 on 3s is keeping them in it (48-40 with 1:44 left), but both teams (Illinois State is shooting 35.1%, UNI 26.0%) look to be setting the sport back a few decades.

Glad to see UNI get KO-ed....I'm sure WSU would've handed it to them if they got past this round anyway.
